The Video Services Forum (vsf.tv) will be hosting VidTrans 2022 on June 14-16 in Marina del Ray, California at the MdR Marriott hotel. This will be an in-person event, but we are also planning to offer a (paid) streaming option for anyone who can't make it due to travel restrictions. Of course, we will be observing the recommended covid safety protocols (more on that in a future post).
The VidTrans22 dates will be extra easy for folks traveling from overseas, since it is the week immediately following both Infocomm (https://www.infocommshow.org/) in Las Vegas and CineGear Expo (https://www.cinegearexpo.com/) at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I'm hoping to attend all three shows myself, which looks good on the calendar.
I'm really looking forward to being able to see all my industry friends in person. The exhibits should also have some cool new tech to look at, because there has been so much innovation since our last get-together in February 2020. Hope to see you there!
